Is part of the way we are celebrating St Alfred's 50th anniversary. It is about members of St Alfred's connecting with and serving people in our local community. Peter MacPherson will launch this new church-wide initiative at both services today. You will receive a booklet full of practical suggestions on how you can serve. Sign up will be Feb 19th. Connect50 “Dinner Tonite”
Michael from New Hope will be visiting both 10am and 6pm services today to speak briefly about their "Dinner Tonite" ministry which feeds about 140 people each Saturday. As part of Connect50 we are looking for 10 volunteers to help serve on the 2nd Sat of each month between Mar – Dec: setting up, serving dinners, and cleaning up.
