| Judges 3:12-30 | Peter MacPherson |
Today at 10.00am and 6.00pm we continue our major Old Testament preaching series in Judges.
The Old Testament book of Judges is our focus for preaching at the moment. It is a book full of surprising and unusual stories. Today’s story about Ehud is one of those. As you read it or hear it read in church ask yourself what the main point of the story might be. There must be some reason God has included such a story in the Bible. Is Ehud someone to be admired or emulated; or is he a model of what not to do and how not to act; or is there something else going on? Why is such a graphic story in the Bible?
