This is a series looking at one of the Apostle Paul’s longest letters. Corinth is in modern-day Greece and was a thriving commercial centre due to its proximity to the sea. As a church it certainly had its problems. But then what church doesn’t have problems?

Today we consider issues of behaviour that are not consistent with a Christian approach to life. We are reading through 1 Corinthians and have reached the stage where the Apostle Paul has to speak about a range of ethical issues. It is instructive that these sorts of issues have been around since the very inception of the church but it still doesn't make it easy to agree on what is and isn't permissible.
